Korean violist BOMI KIM is known her passionate performances, interesting programs, and communicative qualities on stage.
Dr. Kim studied classical music for more than 15 years across three different continents such as Asia, Europe, and America.

She completed her Bachelor and Master (Vordiplom/ KA, Diplom) in professional viola performance from Hochschule fuer Musik
und Theater "Rostock" in Germany with Prof. Karin Wolf (who is a founding member of the internationally renowned Verdi Quartet
and studied with Max Rostal in Berne and Bruno Giuranna in Berlin).

Dr. Kim entered and studied at The University of Southern Mississippi with full scholarship for Doctor of Music Arts in viola
performance. She received her doctoral degree in Christian Music as the youngest age from Cohen University in USA.

Dr. Kim's performances have earned numerous prizes in viola competitions. Especially, she was awarded
the First prize in America Federation of Music Clubs competition from all string category and got the
scholarship.Dr. Kim was also invited winner's concert to perform in Mississippi.

She played as the principal violist in USM symphony orchestra in the states, and took master classes
with Verdi Quartet in Fuessen, Mannheim, and Rostock.Germany.

After completing her abroad study in 2013, she came back to Korea. Dr. Kim was invited as a judge for
the entrance examination 2014 at the Peniel International High School of Arts. She was also appointed as
an ambassador in Korea-Germany medical convention for pediatric cancer patients by FPIST
(International patien service from Heidelberg national hospital, Germany).

Since 2013 she joined a invitational professor of Christian Music at the Reformed Faith Theological
College & Seminary in Brazil, and the professor for Church Music at the Full Gospel Theological
Seminary in Korea.

Dr. Kim performs numerous cities in different countries all over the world such as Canada, Israel,
Brazil, and Philippines.She goes to perform everywhere who need comfort and love through her music.
